Arrowfield Stud has significantly bolstered their equine roster with the acquisition of Flying Mascot, a top-notch mare purchased for a hefty price of $600,000.

The exceptional mare showed plenty of promise on the track, boasting a record of six wins and five placings from 19 starts, her winnings totalling an impressive $565,525.

She maximised her prowess primarily in Melbourne, with impressive performances at the city’s major tracks, Flemington and Caulfield.

Cameron Bennett’s Flying Start Syndications offered up the six-time win in the Inglis Digital August (Late) Sale, with Arrowfield Stud securing her services.

Flying Mascot’s prowess will no doubt enrich the bloodline at Arrowfield Stud. Her breed, sired by Tavistock, is known for producing high-quality offspring.
Adding such a progeny to the stud profile will only increase the prestige of their stock.

“I’m really happy, it’s a great result, all the owners are over the moon,” a delighted Cameron Bennett said.

“At the end of the day we paid $25,000 for her, she won $565,000 in prizemoney and today sells for $600,000 – it’s been an amazing journey with her.”
