Star Godolphin mare Alizee will jump from the second widest barrier in the G1 Futurity Stakes.

Godolphin trainer James Cummings is set to have three of the 12 runners in the Group One Futurity Stakes at Caulfield, headed by in-form mare Alizee.

Alizee has barrier 11 for Saturday’s weight-for-age race over 1400 metres while stablemates Hartnell and Best Of Days have gates eight and one respectively.

Manuel, an upset winner of the Group One C F Orr Stakes over the same course and distance last Saturday week, has drawn barrier seven while defending champion Brave Smash is set to jump from barrier two.

Brave Smash is one of two runners for trainer Kris Lees, the other being multiple Group One winner Le Romain who has the outside draw, while Chris Waller has accepted for three-year-old Ringerdingding who will jump from gate nine.
