Race 1 – Benchmark 82 (1050m)

Evil Dreams resumed in style on March 3 and looms as a live-chance to back that up on Monday. The horse has a second-up win in the past, and while this is a step up we think it can deliver.

Race 1 tip: Evil Dreams to win ($12 at Neds)

Race 2 – Benchmark 82 (2004m)

Column is hunting a hat-trick and is right in the mix. The horse has progressed throughout this campaign, and with the veteran Craig Williams on board we think it can continue the strong form.

Race 2 tip: Column to win at William Hill

Race 3 – Darley Stallions Handicap (1200m)

Incomparable was a strong maiden winner last-start and can go back-to-back here. The win at Morphettville was composed and we’re backing it to do the business.

Race 3 tip: Incomparable to win at Sportsbet

Race 4 – Magic Millions Adelaide 2YO Classic (1200m)

Nomothaj comes across the border from Victoria with good form after a strong win at Flemington. The Hayes, Hayes and Dabernig filly actually gets a weight drop heading into this race, which will help overcome the wide barrier.

Race 4 tip: Nomothaj to win at Sportsbet

Race 5 – C S Hayes Mem. Cup (1600m)

Strategic Demand won well at benchmark 90 level last-start and we’re backing it in to deliver another strong run. The horse drops slightly in weight and draws a great gate. The horse has won five times at nine attempts at Morphettville and we think it should make it six.

Race 5 tip: Strategic Demand to win at William Hill

Race 6 – Benchmark 75 (1600m)

Dances On Stars stays around the grading that it only just missed out at last-start. The horse has either won or placed in three of its last six runs, and the old boy looks poised to put together yet another sound performance.

Race 6 tip: Dances On Stars to win at Neds

Race 7 – Adelaide Cup (3200m)

We’re ignoring Double Bluff’s last run and backing it to put together a strong showing in the feature. The horse has placed at this distance and track in the past and before that last-start sixth at Flemington it had recorded two-straight wins. Expect a bounce back performance from Double Bluff.

Race 7 tip: Double Bluff to win ($10 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Quayclean Matrice Stakes (1200m)

The in-form Stellar Collision looks the best bet here. The Weir and Yendall pairing reunite here and will look to continue the recent run that has seen the horse win twice and place a further two times across four runs.

Race 8 tip: Stellar Collision to win at Ladbrokes

Race 9 – Benchmark 75 (1200m)

This Miss Cuoco’s race to lose. The horse has lost just once in the last five runs, the last of which was just below the grading it confronts on Monday. The horse drops in weight and looks ideally placed.

Race 9 tip: Miss Cuoco to win at Ladbrokes
