Schofield pleads guilty over HK sale
Jockey Glyn Schofield has pleaded guilty over his involvement in the sale of the unraced Brent Stanley-trained Equita to Hong Kong.
The Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board heard Schofield was unaware of the rule that precludes jockeys from acting in the trading of racehorses without the written consent of the ruling body, in this case Racing Victoria.
Earlier this month Schofield was fined $20,000 for facilitating the sale of NSW galloper Lil Caesar to Hong Kong.
