CRANBOURNE is the scene for the Friday night racing circuit this week and we have all the racing form and free tips for every race.

Competitive racing is the theme of the night as even betting fields will delight punters. There is a 3YO Maiden race which will be attracting plenty of attention and the final race of the night features 16 quality sprinters.

The night starts with a maiden plate at 6.30pm and make sure to check in at Sportsbet.com.au for its latest Friday racing special.

Race 1- We Love A Bet Maiden Plate (2025m)

Trimouille is a four-year-old mare which has placed on four occasions and it was making up good ground at Moonee Valley last start. The Rod Grantley-trained mare has placed in all three starts on this track and the rise up in distance looks ideal.

John Moloney lines up Artillery which has had one placing from five starts. The three-year-old hasn’t troubled the winners as of yet, but it has found only a moderate maiden field and the inside draw is ideal. The step up in distance might be its calling card.

Triband has been solidly backed in two race day starts and its form is improving. The Hayes/Dabernig-trained filly finished fifth last start and the step up in distance looks natural for the daughter by Fastnet Rock. It doesn’t have a lot of natural speed, but follow any market moves.

Race 1 tip: Trimouille to win at CrownBet.com.au

Race 2 – Peter & Lavella Rose Maiden (1400m)

Jodi Nicole showed its ability on debut when running second at Moonee Valley. The Nikki Burke-trained mare had to wait for running room, but it sprinted late which suggests it has good natural speed. It’s having only its second run as a four-year-old, but it should go close from a nice barrier.

Rock And Rose is ready to break maiden grades after four placings from seven starts. The Hayes/Dabernig-trained mare ran a quality second at Pakenham two starts back before running a close-up fourth as the $2.60 favourite last start. Expect better odds in this, but it should be fighting out the finish.

Spanish Reef is on debut for Ken Keys who can train his fair share of three-year-old winners. The filly by Lope de Vega has the inside draw and noticeably Craig Newitt has taken the ride. He’s an astute judge and the betting will indicate its winning chances.

Race 2 tip: Jodi Nicole to win at Bet365.com

Race 3 – Unox 3YO Maiden Plate (1400m)

Robbie Laing lines up Ridgway which has performed well in some tough fields. The Gio Ponti three-year-old finished second on debut behind Moshway at Sandown and it then ran on late behind Khaki at Flemington earlier this month. It looked as though it wanted more ground it’s in the right stable for the job. Tricky draw, but expect plenty of tote support.

Snipfit is another Ken Keys-trained debutante which gets Craig Newitt in the saddle. The three-year-old son of Snippetson gets a lovely barrier to jump from and we’re predicting it a nice performance from the youngster at each way odds.

Linguist has improved with every run this campaign and a win doesn’t look far away. The Ellerton/Zahra-trained filly was no match for Southerly Wind on debut, but it has thrived with racing this preparation and it finished third behind subsequent midweek winner Fudged on this track.

Race 3 tip: Ridgway to win at Sportsbet.com.au

Race 4 – Highview Accounting & Financial R64 (1600m)

Wanted Lady is a two-win mare which scored stylishly at Ballarat last start. The four-year-old won by 1.25 lengths and the rise up to the mile should suit it nicely. It has experience at Cranbourne with one placing from two starts and it should be in the mix.

Darren Weir lines up Cosmic Miss which chased well behind runaway winner Movie last start. The five-year-old has had plenty of experience with 20 starts for two wins and eight placings, and it looks well-placed after taking on some tougher company. Drawn well and Yendall is riding well.

Elegant Queen produced an improving performance last start when second at Mornington and a similar effort will take it close. The Tom Scanlon-trained mare can win on any surface and it could find itself in the money again with a touch of luck from the tricky draw.

Race 4 tip: Wanted Lady to win at CrownBet.com.au

Race 5 – Mypunter.com C1 Handicap (1500m)

Folk Tales was a solid winner last start at Werribee and it will enjoy the extra distance. The son of Stravinsky found the line nicely over 1420m last start as the $2.30 favourite and although it rises in weight, it should be there at the finish again.

Jvala is an interesting runner which has been tested in city class. The Beer/Hinton-trained gelding finished eighth on debut before being thrown in the deep end at Flemington where it finished last in a 12-horse field. It was then spelled and it returned in style with a three-length win at Moe. Chance here if it can repeat that run.

Prior Engagement is rarely far away from the action and it placed in its only start at this distance. The Weir-trained gelding has won once from nine starts with five placings and it won’t take long for it to score its second career win. Must be included on an each way basis.

Race 5 tip: Prior Engagement to place at WilliamHill.com.au

Race 6 – Browns Sawdust & Shavings R64 (1000m)

Tea Tree Gully looked a promising type in three starts last campaign. The Russell Cameron-trained gelding won on debut by three lengths before finishing second at Geelong. It then ran last at Benalla as the $1.60 favourite, but it was only 3.85 lengths from the winner so the effort wasn’t as bad as the form suggests.

Autumn Time scored an overdue win at Sale last start and it might kick on with it now. The Brendan McCarthy-trained mare scored by just over a length and it looks good enough to make it back-to-back wins. The five-year-old should fight out the finish.

Gohardasun is a five-time winner which ran fourth behind a nice type last start. The Melody Cunningham-trained gelding has placed three times from five starts at this distance and it will be wanting a good racing surface. Each way chance in this.

Race 6 tip: Tea Tree Gully to win at CrownBet.com.au

Race 7 – Procon Developments R64 Handicap (1400m)

Heza Magic Man was an impressive 3.25-length winner fresh up and it has winning form on this track. The four-year-old is usually around the mark and it will only need some luck from the wide barrier draw to figure in the finish with Michael Walker in the saddle.

Seguna was backed into $1.80 last start and it did the job accordingly. The Hayes/Dabernig-trained gelding scored by a length at Benalla to open its account this campaign and there’s nothing to suggest why it won’t win again. It has breeding on its side and the inside draw will give it every advantage.

Natural Achiever scored two consecutive wins back in New Zealand, but it hasn’t been able to replicate that form in Australia. The son of Savabeel finished fifth last start at Moe, only 1.45 lengths behind the winner, and it gets a 2kg claim via Stephen Brown Jnr. Chance if everything goes its way.

Race 7 tip: Seguna to win at WilliamHill.com.au

Race 8 – We Love A Bet R64 Handicap (1200m)

Robbie Griffiths lines up Song One which battled for sixth at Bendigo last start. The four-year-old is twice a winner at this distance and it has won and placed in two starts at this distance. It has drawn wide in barrier 12, but expect it to settle back and finish strongly.

Gangstar’s Curse looked better than average last campaign and it could return to form after consecutive seventh-placed finishes. The Michael Kent-trained gelding was a winner on this track in April and it runs best when it lands on the speed. Shouldn’t be left out from the inside barrier.

Ghenwaa couldn’t quite keep up with them at Sandown in the Twilight Glow, but this is much easier. The Hayes/Dabernig-trained filly had been taking on some nice types in Sweet Melody prior to that effort and with a placing from its only start on this track, it looks tough to handle.

Race 8 tip: Ghenwaa to win at CrownBet.com.au
