Tuesday racing tips for Ararat
An eight-race card is set down for judgement on Tuesday afternoon at Ararat to kick off another week of racing in Victoria, as the state will not see any racing on Mondays during the summer racing season. The track is currently a Soft 5 after consistent rain over the weekend, but we’re expecting to be on a Good 4 come raceday. The rail remains in the true position for the meeting on Tuesday, so there should be no excuses. The first at Ararat will jump at 1:30pm AEDT.
Race 4 – Creme De La Bomme (#13)We will be hoping that the Phillip Stokes and Patrick Moloney combination can steer our best tip of the day home with this three-year-old filly. Creme De La Bomme has started off her career with consecutive runner-up performances after racing in an on-speed position. From barrier nine, she maps to get a cart across the field with speed drawn to her outside. If Moloney can get a little bit of luck early on, this one should break her maiden here.

Race 6 – Substantial (#4)Coming off the back of consecutive runner-up performances, Substantial looks well placed to break her run of outs and bring up her fourth career victory on Tuesday. With apprentice Tatum Bull retaining the ride, the mare should benefit hugely from her 3kg claim. She’ll look to make this a genuine 1100m sprint out in front, and she should get a quiet time of it out in front with not much early pace engaged.

Race 7 – Gingerson (#4)It’s hard to ignore the consistent form that Shay Keating’s four-year-old gelding has put together so far this campaign. He’s yet to finish worse than fifth in eight starts this time in, including two victories and two runner-up performances. He gets back to Ararat, where he ran into a handy trio two starts back and was far from disgraced. Gingerson makes his own luck out in front, and Jarrod Fry should have no issue in getting his mount up into a prominent position from barrier 12. With not much early pace engaged in the race, he should prove hard to run down.
