With Albert’s No Pussy winning on Monday Manalong Nicko looms as the next-best runner. The horse has not missed a placing across four career runs, including a last-start third at Hawkesbury in a decent maiden.

Race 1 tip: Manalong Nicko to win ($4.40 at Sportsbet)

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1300m)

Dancing Phryne has been quality this preparation, placing three times and finishing no worse than fourth over four preparation. The filly was only half a length away from winning on May 31 and the horse is drawn well to break the maiden grade on Tuesday.

Race 2 tip: Dancing Phryne to win ($2.40 at Sportsbet)

Race 3 – Maiden Handicap (1200m)

Skyray finished second in his resuming run on June 14 and looks a good thing coming in second-up. It was a slightly disappointing run given he jumped as an even-money favourite but we’re backing the gelding in to deliver a much improved performance.

Race 3 tip: Skyray to win ($2.35 at Neds)

Race 4 – Maiden (1100m)

First-starter Time And Again looks as good a prospect as any coming into this event. The horse won well in a recent trial and is drawn well enough in the weights to deliver a strong debut run.

Race 4 tip: Time And Again to win ($2.60 at William Hill)

Race 5 – Class 1 Handicap (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1187799_05]

Greenspan has finished second in back-to-back events and will be highly competitive coming into this event. The horse has one win from the single attempt at the distance and should prove hard to beat.

Race 5 tip: Greenspan to win at Neds

Race 6 – Class 2 Handicap (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1187799_06]

Florid has great speed and won’t be too disadvantaged from the wide barrier. The Godolphin runner has previously placed third-up in the past and will have no issues jumping to the front and giving them something to catch.

Race 6 tip: Florid to win at Ladbrokes

Race 7 – Benchmark 66 (1350m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1187799_07]

The Kim Waugh-trained Mo The Great resumes after a five month layoff and looks well placed to resume in style after a decent trial at Wyong. The horse has a win from two first-up attempts in the past and will be the horse to beat despite the 63.5kg weight.

Race 7 tip: Mo The Great to win at William Hill

Race 8 – Benchmark 65 (1350m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1187799_08]

Wide Spread Panic broke the maiden in stylish fashion at the Kensington track and we’re backing it to deliver a win to back that performance up. The Waterhouse and Bott runner should improve even further on that run and we’re backing the filly to step it up once again.

Race 8 tip: Wide Spread Panic to win at Neds
