Winx to miss Queen Elizabeth

Champion mare Winx will not attempt to add the Queen Elizabeth Stakes to her Doncaster Mile win.

Trainer Chris Waller told stewards after track work on Tuesday she would miss Saturday’s $4 million race at Randwick.

Betting on the race was suspended on Monday amid uncertainty over whether the favourite would start.
