We’re backing Choysa to continue the good form. In three of the horse’s last four races the gelding has registered wins, including a last-start hammering at Sandown.

Race 1 tip: Choysa to win ($3.90 at Sportsbet)

Race 2 – Benchmark 70 (1000m)

King’s Authority returns after a gelding operation and should be too good for this field. The horse finished third in two of its three starts in much better quality than this, and we’re backing it to notch up career win number two.

Race 2 tip: King’s Authority to win ($2.20 at Neds)

Race 3 – Benchmark 70 (1000m)

The consistent Cherief’s Choice will be right around the mark. The horse has placed twice and finished fourth in a last-start contest at just below this level. From a great gate it will be even better with the blinkers applied.

Race 3 tip: Cherief’s Choice to win ($9 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Benchmark 70 (1800m)

Carak has been in great form recently, and while it jumps in class we cannot deny its chances. The horse has a great gate, and while the four-year-old is returning to a level where it failed at previously, it has the ability to win this race at odds.

Race 4 tip: Carak to win at ($26 Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 70 (1600m)

The second-up Groovin’ presents as a strong hope. The mare only missed out by six parts of a length in its resuming run and she has a follow up victory in the past. All bodes well for a strong performance.

Race 5 tip: Groovin’ to win ($6.50 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Benchmark 64 (1500m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185262_06]

High Sierra is shooting for a hat-trick and looks well placed to achieve it. Following a strong maiden win the horse jumped straight into BM64 company in winning fashion, and while the mare gets 2.5kg for that victory we’re backing her in once again.

Race 6 tip: High Sierra to win ($4.20 at Neds)

Race 7 – Benchmark 78 (1000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185262_07]

The third-up Removal looks ready to win. The horse finished within a half a length of the winner on April 28, and the gelding is unbeaten across two third-up runs. Back him in.

Race 7 tip: Removal to win ($5.50 at William Hill)

Race 8 – Benchmark 70 (1300m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185262_08]

Enigman has drawn perfectly and will be the horse to beat here. At his last-start at BM70 level the gelding won by a neat length, a feat we think he will replicate.

Race 8 tip: Enigman to win ($4.20 at Sportsbet)
