Race 1 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

Couvre Lit is a first-starter for the Godolphin stable that presents as an excellent winning chance. The debuting runner has had two trials to date, the last of which it won comfortably. Look for a strong maiden performance here.

Race 1 tip: Couvre Lit to win ($5 at Neds)

Race 2 – Maiden Handicap (1200m)

Primitivo has finished within a length of the winner in both of its career starts to date and presents as a great winning hope upon resumption. The horse has trialed well leading into this contest and will take some beating in a small field.

Race 2 tip: Primitivo to win ($3.40 at Topbetta)

Race 3 – Benchmark 73 (1100m)

Deity won magnificently at the second time of asking at Wyong on January 28 and we believe it is well placed to go back-to-back here. That win was a three and a half length effort that drew our attention and we believe Deity is a horse to watch heading into the autumn.

Race 3 tip: Deity to win ($4.80 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Benchmark 74 (2200m)

Just Keep Giving recaptured its best form at Wyong on January 28 in a BM60U contest, and while this is a step up in class we think it’s within the horse’s grasp. Drawing 53kg is a huge help, as will having a fitness advantage on some of these.

Race 4 tip: Just Keep Giving to win ($8.50 at William Hill)

Race 5 – Benchmark 75 (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181529_05]

A first-to-last win last-time out from Aquatic makes us believe another quality run will be in the offing. That win was at close to this mark at Canterbury, so there’s no reason to think it cannot do the business once again at the Farm.

Race 5 tip: Aquatic to win ($2.25 at Neds)

Race 6 – Benchmark 70 (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181529_06]

Once More A Lady returned in excellent condition last start at this venue on January 26 at BM80 FM3U level and we think it will progress from that run. The Joe Pride runner has a good record at both the track and the distance so we’re backing it in.

Race 6 tip: Once More A Lady to win ($2.20 at William Hill)

Race 7 – Benchmark 73 (1000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1181529_07]

A lack of first-up form isn’t going to deter us from backing Nosey here. The horse finished off last campaign by winning four races in a row. The race team has elected to trial the gelding coming into this race, which should help it find some of the race fitness it sorely needs.

Race 7 tip: Nosey to win ($6.50 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Benchmark 78 (1400m)

Witches at its best takes this race out. Following a strong win at Randwick upon resumption the mare has yet to find top gear since, but has had a few excuses along the way. It’s high time the Widdup-trained mare lived up to the hype and put another win under its belt.

Race 8 tip: Witches to win ($5 at Crownbet)
