Race 1 – Maiden Plate (1100m)

Sparkly Star is racing fresh after a seven month break and we’re confident it can breakthrough in this event. The horse has trialed nicely leading into this, winning both hitouts at Rosehill.

Race 1 tip: Sparkly Star to win ($1.95 at Sportsbet)

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

Reelem In Ruby debuts here and looks well placed. The horse has trialed strongly leading into this race and we’re backing the Snowden-trained filly to make a strong debut.

Race 2 tip: Reelem In Ruby to win ($6.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 3 – Benchmark 74 (1200m)

Godolphin runner Florid resumed sharply at Hawkesbury, finishing second in a BM65 contest. The horse jumps in class but drops significantly in weight, which will be telling here.

Race 3 tip: Florid to win ($4 at Neds)

Race 4 – Benchmark 74 (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1186959_04]

American Magic is looking to go back-to-back for the first time in his career. The gelding confronts a weakish race for a BM74 contest and we’re backing the three-year-old in to record a third win at the sixth attempt.

Race 4 tip: American Magic to win ($2.50 at William Hill)

Race 5 – Benchmark 73 (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1186959_05]

Chris Waller runner Cormac has an ordinary gate to contend with, but the form cannot be denied. The horse has a win and two seconds across his last three starts, both by a combined 1.1 lengths. If it gets across nicely from barrier 10 it will be right in the frame.

Race 5 tip: Cormac to win ($4.20 at Neds)

Race 6 – Benchmark 71 (2110m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1186959_06]

Last-start winner Follow Suit can deliver back-to-back wins here. The gelding won brilliantly as a $26 outsider at this track on May 30, and we think the short freshen up will work wonders for the four-year-old. Only issue is the top weight but we’re backing Follow Suit in.

Race 6 tip: Follow Suit to win ($5.50 at Ladbrokes)

Race 7 – Benchmark 74 (1300m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1186959_07]

Seahampton should round out the day in style for us. The horse returns to the competitive race track for the first time since breaking through for her maiden win on December 9. The filly should be right around the mark fresh following a trial at the end of May.

Race 7 tip: Seahampton to win ($3.20 at William Hill)
