Race 1 – Maiden Handicap (1200m)

Quick Nick is third-up and looks ready to win. After a disappointing fourth on debut the colt improved significantly to finish within half a length of the winner. If it displays that level of advancement it will be hard to beat at a decent price.

Race 2 – Maiden Handicap (1600m)

Three second placed finishes across as many career starts has us believing that a win is just around the corner for Singa Glory. On March 22 the gelding was only a length away from winning, and looks to be improving with every race. From barrier three Singa Glory will be in the mix.

Race 3 – Benchmark 74 (1600m)

Grand Finalist is third-up, where it has placed at in the past. The gelding looks well suited in this race and would be at a much shorter price if it didn’t draw barrier eight.

Race 4 – Benchmark 74 (1300m)

Royal Advance won well on debut two weeks ago at Hawkesbury and has a strong chance of going back-to-back to begin its career. The horse draws perfectly and will enjoy stepping up in distance.

Race 5 – Benchmark 74 (1300m)

The second-up Good Weather looms as a strong hope here. After surprising at odds to finish second on March 27 we think it can improve significantly.

Race 6 – Benchmark 80 (1100m)

Marsupial is the best bet of the day. The horse should be peaking after two return runs where it went down by a combined half a length. We’re confident it finds the additional improvement to take this one out.

Race 7 – Benchmark 83 (1400m)

Philosophy is a first-up gun that will be hard to beat after a six month layoff. The horse has two wins from three runs at the track and two wins from three resuming attempts. Bodes well for a strong return.

Race 8 – Benchmark 76 (1200m)

Resin should complete a good day at the office for team Godolphin. The hat-trick seeking horse is progressing through the grades nicely and shouldn’t have any issues with this field.
