IT’S Villiers Stakes Day at Randwick this weekend and we’re excited by the prospect of this nine race card.

The online bookmakers have wheeled out the promotions for the day and we have your tips for the card.

Check them out below.

*All odds were provided by our trusted online bookmakers and were correct at the time of publication

Race 1 – Highway Handicap (1000m)

Sei Stella resumes after close to three months away from the track hoping to continue her stellar first-up form.

The four-year-old has two wins from as many starts. The mare also has a quality record of three wins from four starts at Randwick.

From a good gate Sei Stella should get our day off to a flier.

Sei Stella is at $3.10 to win via online bookmaker Ladbrokes

Race 2 – BM76 (1100m)

Last-start winner Miss Toorak Flyer is looking to complete a hat-trick after winning prior to being turned out at Cranbourne. The horse returns to the city following a strong first-up run this campaign at Bendigo and we think the odds on offer for the four-year-old are hard to ignore.

Miss Toorak Flyer is at $16 via Ladbrokes

Race 3 – BM88 (1200m)

Seasons is the leading hope here and the best bet of the day.

Seeking a fourth-straight win after a solid success at Rosehill, Seasons is undefeated over three runs at the distance.

The four-year-old will benefit from a short lay up and should deliver here.

Seasons is at $2.15 at online bookmaker Sportsbet to win

Race 4 – Christmas Cup (2400m)

We’re expecting Kim Waugh-trained Our Century to spear out and win from the front in a smallish Christmas Cup field.

The eight-year-old started the campaign with a win and finished as a runner-up second-up at Rosehill. In a field of just seven where nothing else stands out, Our Century should be winning this one.

Our Century is at $2.40 to win via Sportsbet

Race 5 – Inglis Nursery (1000m)

Strasbourg might be a lot shorter if he drew a better gate but the colt is a quality prospect.

We’re expecting the two-year-old to be bustled out from gate 11 and attempt to be in the front division, which would see him go back-to-back in as many starts.

If Strasbourg gets across cheaply we think he’s the horse to beat in the Inglis Nursery.

Strasbourg is at $3.90 via online bookmaker BetEasy to win

Race 6 – Razor Sharp Handicap (1200m)

Star sprinter Cradle Mountain will be hard to beat in this one.

Winning six of his nine career starts including two straight, the five-year-old gelding benefits massively from a drop in weight.

From an ideal gate Cradle Mountain is one of the better bets on the Randwick card.

Cradle Mountain is at $2.15 to win at BetEasy

Race 7 – Villiers Stakes (1600m)

Sky Boy is hunting a fifth-straight win in the feature on Saturday and looks to be a great hope.

All of his wins have come as the favourite, so we know he handles pressure. Only slight worry is the wider gate but we think Sky Boy delivers the quintet of wins.

Godolphin runner and last-start winner Interlocuter the hardest to beat, but Sky Boy should do the business.

Sky Boy is at $3 with our trusted online bookmakers

Race 8 – BM88 (1600m)

Last-start winner Organza comes into Randwick’s meet as Godolphin’s best winning hope.

Three of four wins for the horse have come on a dry track, so there’s a bit of a query there but we’re backing the four-year-old mare to again step up to the plate and deliver a strong performance.

Organza is at $3.30 to win via our online bookmakers

Race 9 – BM78 (1400m)

Charlie Chap is travelling well enough this campaign to include as a strong each way hope in the last.

The Mike Van Gestel gelding has placed second twice over four runs this campaign, and with a drop in weight another placing isn’t beyond the four-year-old.

Charlie Chap is at $12 to place via online bookmaker BetEasy
