Verry Elleegant wins the Australian Oaks

Verry Elleegant has produced a spirited finish to win the ATC Australian Oaks at Randwick.

Advancing trainer Chris Waller’s Group One tally to 99 winners, Verry Elleegant overcame a moderate tempo to run away with the Classic for three-year-old fillies.

Verry Elleegant defeated Scarlet Dream with Frankely Awesome taking the minor placing.
