Valley the final scene for Peter Moody

The curtain will close on the training career of Peter Moody for the immediate future after the William Reid Stakes meeting at Moonee Valley.

The trainer of unbeaten champion Black Caviar is closing down his training operation as he begins a six-month cobalt suspension at the conclusion of Thursday night’s meeting at which he has six runners.

Moody has left the door open for a return in the future but not as a large public trainer.
