Tramore’s Monday meeting must pass precautionary check

Monday’s meeting at Tramore is subject to a precautionary inspection due to the threat of heavy rainfall.

The track saw plenty of rain ahead of Sunday’s card, with the ground changed from soft, heavy in places to just heavy following the second race.

A statement from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board said: “The IHRB has announced that there is to be an 8am precautionary inspection at Tramore on Monday morning due to a Status Orange weather warning issued by Met Éireann and the risk of heavy rainfall.”
