Tony Gollan weighs up stablemates’ clash

Premier trainer Tony Gollan is tossing up whether to keep promising fillies Miss Exfactor and Shesees Everything apart this week.

Gollan set a Queensland record of 87 metropolitan wins on Wednesday and is keen to reach at least 90 before the end of the season.

The fillies, who are both regarded as future black-type horses, have accepted in the GH Mumm Plate (1200m) at Doomben on Saturday.

Shesees Everything charged home to win at Doomben two weeks ago with Miss Exfactor third.

Gollan admits he finds it hard to split the pair who are eventually headed to the fillies and mares black-type races in the summer.

“They are different types of horses. Miss Exfactor gets up on the pace while Shesees Everything gets back and runs on,” Gollan said.

“I just want to have a think over the next few days about whether to start them on Saturday as one or the other can go to a race next week.”

“I can’t split them but I will say one thing Shesees Everything is a filly on the up.

“She should have won the Magic Millions Maiden and hasn’t looked back since finishing second in that race.”

Miss Exfactor has been most consistent and has four wins and four minor placings from eight starts and drops to 54kg.
