Race 1 – Maiden Plate (1000m)
He Can Star made great strides in his second career start, missing out by three parts of a length without getting a lot of luck in the run.
The horse comes to a pseudo-metro track after that Stony Creek run but we think the gelding is more than capable of breaking through here.

Race 2 – Maiden (1400m)
North Afrika has made a habit of placing without winning across 13 career starts to date, placing eight times.
Last time out the horse only missed out by a touch over half a length, which made it six of his last eight starts North Afrika has finished within a length of the winner.
The penny has to drop sometime and we think this is a winnable event.

Race 3 – Maiden Plate (1600m)
Speedy filly Sumusu has finished second twice across her opening two career starts, improving significantly from the first start to the sophomore run.
If the progression continues the Lindsay Park team could have an exciting filly on their hands.

Race 4 – Maiden (2000m)
River Mist is the best choice in an ordinary field.
Placing second twice from five runs, the filly brings in by far the best form of any runner in this field and gets just 56kg for the event.

Race 5 – BM64 (1600m)
Think I’m Dreaming is the better bets of the night this Thursday.
The mare has come to play this campaign, winning by just shy of three lengths before only missing out by half a length at this track on February 14.
Stepping up to the mile we believe Think I’m Dreaming is the best bet of the night.

Race 6 – BM64 (1400m)
Almighty Gold won well on debut at Colac for team Gelagotis, winning nicely despite not being favoured in the market.
The three-year-old gelding cops 1kg for that run, but draws perfectly in barrier three and looks suited to the step up in distance after winning at 1200m.
Back Almighty Gold in to go back-to-back.

Race 7 – Class 1 Handicap (1200m)
The Phillip Stokes stable is firing as of late and Gennikay is no exception.
Winning once and placing second from three runs this preparation, breaking the maiden grade last start with a strong 2.3 length win.
The No Drama Darci form looks good and we’re backing the filly in.

Race 8 – BM64 (1200m)
Camp View is looking to get back on the winner’s sheet after a strong showing last time out at this track.
After winning on debut nicely the horse failed at benchmark 703 level before an encouraging run at BM64U level. We’re back at Pakenham after that good run on February 14 and we’re backing Camp View in.
