Asudem debuted with a second placed finish at Coonamble and will look to improve from that performance. The horse steps up in journey, which should be key in this event.

Race 1 tip: Asudem to win ($5.50 at Neds)

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1187426_02]

Bushie’s Crumpet has rounded out the first-four in three-straight events and looks ready to step up and be counted. The horse never looks too far away and we’re backing it to deliver a solid run despite the wide run.

Race 2 tip: Bushie’s Crumpet to win ($7 at William Hill)

Race 3 – Class 3 Plate (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1187426_03]

Cut The Mustard has placed in back-to-back events leading into this event and we’re backing it to step it up. The horse drops significantly in weight, which bodes well for a strong run.

Race 3 tip: Cut The Mustard to win ($4.60 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Maiden Plate (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1187426_04]

Sydney Approach has improved in each of its three career starts and a strong run should be in the offing here. The horse ran well at Scone in its first attempt at the mile and we’re backing it to deliver a win at the second try.

Race 4 tip: Sydney Approach to win ($4.20 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 55 (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1187426_05]

Collins Street has been knocking on the door of a win recently. In its last two runs the horse has finished within a length of the winner, including a last-start defeat by a nose. Collins Street is the horse to beat despite the top weight.

Race 5 tip: Collins Street to win at William Hill

Race 6 – Benchmark 57 (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1187426_06]

Smokey Eye has been consistent over its last three runs, placing twice and finishing within two lengths of the winner on the other occasion. The horse should have enough speed to get across from barrier eight and be a major player from the front.

Race 6 tip: Smokey Eye to win at Neds

Race 7 – Class 2 Handicap (1000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1187426_07]

The resuming Taking Liberties comes into this race fresh off a nine month break. The horse has two placings from five first-up attempts and the win before being turned out at Dubbo was encouraging. We’re baking Taking Liberties in to end the day on a winning note.

Race 7 tip: Taking Liberties to win at Ladbrokes
