Sunshine Coast racing preview
Friday night racing continues at the Sunshine Coast this week with a big nine-race card. The track is rated a Good 4, and the rail will be out +7m for the entirety of the course. Race 1 jumps at 5:23pm local time.
Chris Anderson’s Perfect Impression won very impressively at Ipswich in her Queensland debut, coming from last to arrive in the nick of time. Matt McGillivray retains the ride and is likely to settle out the back again, but the big straight at Corbould Park should suit her to run home out wide over the top of them. Being out of a Galileo mare, she is likely to improve as she gets out over further, so the extra 200m should suit her here. She looks very hard to beat.

Brad Stewart and Tony Gollan have a nice record together, and they combine in the fifth with consistent mare Pull Anchor. She was a great winner second up at Eagle Farm and flashed late to just miss at this course at her latest run nearly three weeks ago. The 1200m suits, as does the inside alley, which should allow her to settle in the first five or six in the run and be within striking distance at the turn.

Beg Me lines up in a 1400m maiden for Tom Button and Luke Tarrant after producing a monstrous effort on debut at triple-figure odds last Tuesday at Doomben. He settled near last, copped plenty of interference in the straight and still managed to rattle home into fourth over the 1350m trip. Up slightly to 1400m, onto a big track and a 1kg drop in the weight looks ideal for the son of Spill The Beans to win his maiden at start two.
