Spirit of Boom (right) can continue to make his mark as a stallion with two runners at Doomben.

The McAlpine family from the Eureka Stud have been celebrating a great Magic Millions sale and hope it continues on the racetrack at Doomben.

Eureka stallion Spirit Of Boom had a big response to his second crop at last week’s sale.

Spirit Of Boom has a chance to continue his domination of Queensland two-year-old races at Doomben on Saturday.

He will be represented by Camboomya and Spirit’s Pride in the Two-Year-Old Handicap (1050m).

Camboomya, who is trained by Tony Sears, will be having her first start.

The filly is raced by Angus McAlpine the son of Eureka proprietor Scott McAlpine, and will race in the stud’s famous gold and black stripes.

“We had a good sale with a 100 per cent clearance rate. But I can honestly say we wouldn’t be where we are without Angus and the boys’ hard work,” Scott McAlpine said.

“Angus has leased Camboomya to race with some of his mates and I would love them to have a winner at first go.”

Sears has added blinkers to the filly’s race day gear for her debut.

Spirit’s Pride gave Spirit Of Boom his seventh individual winner before the new year when he won at Toowoomba on December 31.

The gelding is a half-brother to the Michael Nolan-trained sprinter Upstart Pride and is raced by former Toowoomba Turf Club chairman Bob Frappell with friends and family..

Sky Bogenhuber won on Spirit’s Pride but Boris Thornton will claim 3kg on him on Saturday, reducing his weight to 55kg.
