Hong Kong racing heads back to Sha Tin for a 10 part-program this Tuesday, with the action set to kick off at 4pm local time. The rail moves out to the C course after a short turnaround from Saturday’s meeting, and although some rainfall is expected in the lead-up, punters can expect the Good 4 rating to hold firm for race-day. Best Bet at Sha Tin: Light Years Charm
Light Years Charm looks to continue his fine form this season, with the son of Rubick attempting to claim his fourth win on his ninth Hong Kong start. The David Eustace-trained gelding had no issues stepping into Class 2 company for the first time in his latest outing, bolting clear by 1.5 lengths against a similar field to what he faces here. He does cop a 3.5kg penalty for his dominant performance, but with Zac Purton likely to drop him back towards the rear of the field off a strong tempo, expect Light Years Charm finish strongly and justify his favouritism with horse racing bookmakers.

Next Best at Sha Tin: Fortunate Son
Fortunate Son is yet to put it all together this preparation, placing only three times across his 11 starts. He finally drops back into Class 4, however, and returns to his favoured course, where he found the frame on back-to-back occasions to kick off the campaign. Zac Purton will go in search of cover from barrier seven, and provided the breaks fall his way, Fortunate Son should get every chance to break his Hong Kong maiden.

Best Value at Sha Tin: Heroic Master
Heroic Master never had a look last start at Happy Valley on June 25, so punters can forgive that run. His effort the start prior at this course and distance behind Dancing Classics was exceptional, however, running fast time en route to a third-place finish. Ellis Wong can be positive from barrier 14 on the Sha Tin straight course, and provided this guy can bounce back to his best, Heroic Master represents terrific each-way value with Dabble.
