Light Years Charm goes in search of back-to-back wins after an eye-catching success at Sha Tin on May 10. The son of Rubick was held up for a run at a crucial stage but accelerated impressively once getting clear at the furlong pole. He gets 6kg off his back while stepping up into Class 2 company for the first time, and with Zac Purton sticking aboard this progressive four-year-old, Light Years Charm should prove hard to hold out once again.

Next Best at Sha Tin: Max Que
Max Que appears primed to strike after finding one better in his last three starts. He was clearly the best of the beaten brigade in his latest outing at Sha Tin on May 25, navigating a passage late after Shamus Storm was already off and gone with the prize. Brenton Avdulla looks poised to slot into the one-one from barrier six, and provided the breaks fall his way when the whips are cracking, expect Max Que to finally shirk the maiden tag at start nine.

Value Best at Sha Tin: Etalon Or
Etalon Or has been plagued by horrible barriers this preparation, with the son of Heroic Valour drawing gates 12, 13 and 11 in his last three starts. It has not stopped the three-year-old from finishing in the minor money in two of those, showing an impressive turn of foot from near-impossible winning positions. Alexis Badel can finally take closer order without doing any work from gate four, and provided he gets any luck in transit, Etalon Or should be right in this at a good price with horse racing bookmakers.
