Her horse truck was found more than 170km away at a service station in the Newcastle suburb of Beresfield.

The search for the popular Taree-based trainer resumed on Tuesday morning with the search area expanded to include the western side of the freeway near the petrol station.

Local police, officers on trail bikes, police rescue, the dog unit, a PolAir helicopter and SES volunteers are scouring the area near where Cheers’ horse truck was found on Sunday.
