Race 1 – Maiden Handicap (1400m)

Augusta In April has been around the mark in six of its nine career races, and its last-start second was strong enough to us to indicate it can break through. From a decent gate the gelding should be right in the frame.

Race 1 tip: Augusta In April to win ($9.50 at Neds)

Race 2 – Maiden (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182829_02]

Iamacrumpet was impressive on debut, placing second at this track. The I Am Invincible three-year-old was less than two lengths away from the winner as a $26 outsider. Any improvement on that run should see it highly competitive.

Race 2 tip: Iamacrumpet to win ($3 at William Hill)

Race 3 – Benchmark 55 (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182829_03]

Lady Chicago won its resuming run at the beginning of February, but followed that up with a disappointing showing at Class 2 level. The horse drops back to BM55 level which will assist greatly.

Race 3 tip: Lady Chicago to win ($3.60 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Class 1 Handicap (900m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182829_04]

The resuming run I Am You Are was enough to suggest to us it can go one better here. The horse has placed second on two second-up runs and should improve on the luckless first-up attempt.

Race 4 tip: I Am You Are to win ($2.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 56 (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182829_05]

Miss Redoble drops back in grade and should be far too good for this field. The horse smashed the field to break the maiden two starts back and it will be hard to hold out here.

Race 5 tip: Miss Redoble to win ($1.90 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Class 1 Plate (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182829_06]

Table Mountain won well to break the maiden last-start at Muswellbrook and the promising type looks to be a progressive type. It won by over three lengths on March 2 and we think it can go on from there.

Race 6 tip: Table Mountain to win ($1.90 at Neds)

Race 7 – Country Championships Qualifier (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182829_07]

Suncraze is a legitimate star that is miles too good for this lot. The horse has wins at city level in much sterner tests than this. Just get on.

Race 7 tip: Suncraze to win ($1.75 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Class 2 Plate (1300m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182829_08]

Unique Shadow is a huge chance to resume at odds in the final event. The seven-year-old mare has won first-up before, and rounded out last campaign in good fashion. The place play is the right move here.

Race 8 tip: Unique Shadow to place ($11 at Neds)
