Race 1 – Maiden Handicap (900m)

Licenced To Win has never missed the top-two in three attempts, and has only missed out by a short-head on two of those races. This horse is ready to win and we think it gets the perfect race.

Race 1 tip: Licenced To Win to win ($2 at William Hill)

Race 2 – Maiden Handicap (1100m)

Fleeting Princess missed out by three parts of a length on debut and presents as an excellent winning chance in its second race start. The horse draws the inside barrier, which means it will be a lot closer to the action on Thursday. Back it in.

Race 2 tip: Fleeting Princess to win ($2.90 at Ladbrokes)

Race 3 – Maiden (1300m)

Valree returns from the paddock on Thursday and looks in good shape to finally break through. Prior to being turned out the horse had lost its last two races by less than a combined length. The horse also drops back 2kg from its last run.

Race 3 tip: Valree to win ($4.60 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Benchmark 60 (1600m)

Ayham is seeking a fourth-straight victory here. The horse jumps in weight but the form cannot be denied. Ayham should get to lead easily and take this out from the front.

Race 4 tip: Ayham to win ($7.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 65 (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182407_05]

Star Boy just wins this. The hat-trick seeking three-year-old has never missed the top-two across six runs and is the only runner that brings in any kind of form. The price is fair here.

Race 5 tip: Star Boy to win ($1.55 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Benchmark 55 (1300m)

Jackknife jumps from a tough gate but the last-start second was encouraging enough for us to stick with the horse here. The five-year-old finished a long-nick away on February 23 at Class 2 level and it should be right in the mix here.

Race 6 tip: Jackknife to win ($8 at William Hill)

Race 7 – Class 1 Handicap (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182407_07]

Kanga’s Eye drops back in class here and will be incredibly hard to hold out. The horse has been racing in the city, and comes back to the country following a disappointing showing at Randwick on February 17. Before that the filly had missed out by a combined half length prior to that Randwick win. Kanga’s Eye is the one to beat.

Race 7 tip: Kanga’s Eye to win ($3.40 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Class 3 Handicap (900m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182407_08]

Another Sin won well at Class 2 level and looks well placed to back that up here. The horse is progressing well this campaign and will be extremely hard to hold out here.

Race 8 tip: Another Sin to win ($1.95 at Ladbrokes)
