Scans show no fractures for Stackhouse
Initial X-rays have cleared jockey Daniel Stackhouse of fractures after a race fall at Pakenham.
Stackhouse came down in the straight in the fourth race on Tuesday and was taken to Dandenong Hospital amid fears he had sustained a lower leg fracture.
But the Victorian Jockeys’ Association says the news is better than hoped with Stackhouse suffering lacerations to his shin, soft tissue damage and bone bruising.
