Samantha Clenton nears return from injury

Apprentice Samantha Clenton expects to be back in the saddle within a week after three months on the sidelines with injury.

Clenton suffered shoulder and back injuries in a multiple-horse fall at Taree on May 23.

She has a doctor’s appointment next Wednesday when she expects to get a medical clearance and says she will be back riding trackwork two days later.
