Race 1 – Benchmark 64 (1200m)

Lagerfeld looms as a strong chance here. The horse won brilliantly at Bairnsdale on March 24, winning by six lengths. It is impossible to go past the runner based on that last-start win.

Race 1 tip: Lagerfeld to win ($2.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183715_02]

Hollywood Vine resumes after a four month lay off. On debut the horse finished second after not doing a lot right at Morphettville and this looms as a winnable race first-up.

Race 2 tip: Hollywood Vine to win ($1.90 at William Hill)

Race 3 – Maiden (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183715_03]

The third-up Annanicolesnitz should be ready to peak after two strong resuming runs. The horse placed third upon resumption before going one better on March 20. If the natural progression continues the filly should be right in the mix here.

Race 3 tip: Annanicolesnitz to win ($2.80 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Maiden Plate (1717m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183715_04]

A peaking Think I’m Dreaming will be hard to beat here. After a disappointing showing first-up, the filly improved markedly, finishing half a length off the winner. In a field where not a lot stands out Think I’m Dreaming can deliver.

Race 4 tip: Think I’m Dreaming to win ($2.70 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Benchmark 64 (1100m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183715_05]

Light On Ice is fresh off a resuming win and looms as a contender. The horse has a second-up win in the past and draws perfectly here. The price is too good to pass up.

Race 5 tip: Light On Ice to win ($14 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Benchmark 64 (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183715_06]

We’re backing a drop in class to help Kronos here. The gelding was a stylish winner on debut but has failed to recapture that form since. We think this presents as the perfect opportunity to find its way back into the winner’s stall.

Race 6 tip: Kronos to win ($5.50 at Neds)

Race 7 – Benchmark 64 (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183715_07]

Rossman has been rock solid across its two career starts, placing third on debut before winning by a length at Sandown on March 21. This horse has huge claims coming into this one.

Race 7 tip: Rossman to win ($3 at Ladbrokes)

Race 8 – Benchmark 64 (1717m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1183715_08]

Meat Traders has placed second twice across three runs this preparation and it looms as a strong hope. The gelding has a win at the track before, and seems more than capable of winning at this level.

Race 8 tip: Meat Traders to win ($3.70 at Crownbet)
