The two-year-old colt jumped as $26.90 outsider at Crownbet.com.au, but was able to find the split in the field in the latter stages of the race to cause a huge upset first up ahead of the fast-finishing Capital Gain ($1.80 at WilliamHill.com.au) and race favourite Snitzkraft, which returned $1.20 at Sportsbet.com.au.

Saint Patricks Day’s stablemate and $4.40 second favourite Ours To Keep finished back in fourth.
Despite his less fancied runner taking out the race, trainer Chris Munce has a bold prediction heading into the Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival.

The eye-catching run of the race was the second placed finish of Paul Butterworth’s gelding Capital Gain, which bombed the start but rocketed home to just miss out.
