Randwick track expected to improve
Several days of Sydney sunshine has Randwick officials hopeful the track will be upgraded for this weekend’s meeting.
The track was rated a heavy 9 on Thursday morning but with a clear forecast racecourse manager Nevesh Ramdhani said he thought it would improve to an 8 by Saturday morning.
He said it pulled up well after a meeting a fortnight ago and rain earlier this week.
“There really wasn’t that much wear considering the heavy going and I’m pretty happy with how the track presents,” Ramdhani said.
