Race 1 – Open Plate (1000m)

Ligulate has a bit of an experience edge on the majority of the field and looks well placed to breakthrough. The Godolphin runner has confronted tough maiden races and still only just missed out, so back the galloper in here.

Race 1 tip: Ligulate to win ($7 at Crownbet)

Race 2 – Benchmark 76 (1300m)

In a very tricky race D’argento looms as the best horse in the field. The horse is undefeated across two career starts and looks to be an incredibly promising colt. D’argento wins this and progresses through the grades extremely quickly.

Race 2 tip: D’argento to win ($2.60 at Neds)

Race 3 – Class 2 Handicap (1400m)

Fuel has placed second in back-to-back events, going down by a combined six parts of a length. The horse has some genuine speed and can get across from barrier five, and we believe it has the class to continue the great form.

Race 3 tip: Fuel to win ($5.50 at Ladbrokes)

Race 4 – Benchmark 85 (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1179971_04]

Hunter Jack has recorded three-straight second placed finishes and finds a good race here to break through. The horse has never missed a placing at track and distance and looks well placed to deliver a win in the fourth.

Race 4 tip: Hunter Jack to win ($6.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Summer Sprint (1000m)

One of Australia’s favourite horse Memes returns to the track and we are favouring it to make a successful return. The horse has a win and two placings from three first-up attempts and is a very classy operator and will look to lead and pinch it from the front.

Race 5 tip: Memes to win ($3 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Benchmark 84 (2000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1179971_06]

Chatelard is racing well below its best this preparation but the class factor is drawing us to it this weekend. Prior to being turned out the horse had won four-straight races and a second placing, so we know it is more than capable. The place bet is the smart option here.

Race 6 tip: Chatelard to place ($3.80 at William Hill)

Race 7 – Benchmark 82 (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1179971_07]

Pianissimo has performed well around this rating in its last two outings and should hold a form advantage over the majority of the field. The horse is speedy enough to lead from barrier one and with a light weight it will have no issues finding a kick from the front.

Race 7 tip: Pianissimo to win ($7 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Benchmark 85 (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1179971_08]

Fortensky won well first-up and has a decent second-up record that has to be respected. The horse has one win from a solitary attempt at track and distance and while this is a step-up in grading on its last start, we believe it is capable of going back-to-back.

Race 8 tip: Fortensky to win ($5.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 9 – Benchmark 80 (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1179971_09]

The consistent Jaunty is a huge chance here to continue its good form. The horse has won twice and placed a further time across its last four starts and the place price huge is too juicy to ignore.

Race 9 tip: Jaunty to place ($3.40 at Crownbet)
