Rain forces race meetings to be called off
Rain has claimed the the last six races at Wagga Wagga with the meeting called off because of safety concerns.
After two races, stewards were forced to call time on Friday’s program because of poor visibility.
Earlier in the day, the Ipswich meeting in Queensland was called off as rain hits the eastern seaboard.
Saturday’s Group One meeting in Brisbane featuring the Doomben Cup will be run on a rain-affected surface.
