Quaddie tips for Thursday, April 20 races at Pakenham

quaddie tips
THURSDAY night racing is back on the HorseBetting.com.au agenda and we are looking to continue our sensational run of form on the tip at Pakenham.

Last week we tipped a huge $651 dividend at Hawksbury, and before that we tipped three winners and three second placings at Warwick Farm and we have no intentions of letting the good times stop anytime soon.

Race five on the Pakenham card is the My Financial Point benchmark 64, which kicks off the quaddie at 8pm.

Race 5 – My Financial Point BM64 (1600m)

We are singling out two runners in the first leg of the Pakenham quaddie.

Bo Zephyr is a lightly raced gelding that has a bright future ahead of it. After a disappointing first up run the three-year-old placed third at Pakenham at the beginning of April. The gelding should be the horse to beat.

Zimzala has been a black-booker for many punters over its two race career, and the colt returns to Victoria after a fourth placed finish at Morphettville just over a month ago. The Redoute’s Choice progeny won stylishly on debut at Cranbourne on debut prior to that and looks like battling out the finish alongside Bo Zephyr.

Race 6 – Star News Group BM64 (1400m)

Ocean Grove is a runner that has won for us previously, and we are backing the three-year-old to get the job done for us again. Across four starts at Pakenham the gelding has won once and managed two second placings. It also loves the distance having missed a placing just once. Ocean Grove should be fighting out the finish.

Groot Eylandt is an interesting runner that has won just twice in its 28-race career but has placed in five of its last six starts, and has been within a combination of less than 10 lengths across those five races. The six-year-old has won across course and distance in the past and should be in the frame at the post.

Notable Choice is a horse on the rise. Despite getting away incredibly slowly last time out the three-year-old managed to make up ground and find its way into third. If it can jump with them on Thursday there is no reason to think it cannot breakthrough for a second career win from 11 starts.

Race 7 – T JS Services BM64 (1200m)

Streetshavenoname is a horse that does not tend to win out of turn, but a tremendous placing strike rate of 52 percent means we cannot the six-year-old out. Only two starts ago the gelding won in great fashion at Warrnambool and a similar run will see it go well Thursday.

China Dream is looking to win its second-straight win for the first time in its career after a sparkling maiden victory at Pakenham. The colt is second up on Thursday where it has never finished outside the placings in its career and a strong run is expected again.

Five-year-old mare Jinx is a promising type that has the ability to take this one out. Across the 1200m distance the horse has won a 25 percent of its 12 starts which is a great strikerate at this grade. The mare can break through to salute for the first time since June.

Race 8 – Sportsbet Racing Form BM64 (1000m)

Final leg of the quaddie is over the short distance and a trio of in-form sprinters should be fighting out the finish.

Tris is a horse that possesses huge gate speed which it will need from gate one. The filly is resuming after almost a month off the track, and it has previously placed first up before. This looms as a winnable race.

Believing is another runner that is resuming after a spell that has the ability to win. The Robbie Griffiths runner has never missed a placing while first up and has a serious racing experience advantage over similarly aged gallopers.

Invincible Joy has a sensational record so far in its racing career. Five of its eight starts have been placings and the three-year-old has missed a placing just once across this distance. The gelding has a wide gate to overcome, but some luck for barrier 14 will see it battling out it at the post on Thursday.
