Quaddie tips and free bets for Thursday, May 11 races at Pakenham

quaddie tips
THE regular Thursday quaddie returns in May under the bright lights of the Pakenham Racecourse.

The HorseBetting.com.au team has been on fire over the last few weeks, tipping winners at will and we think it’s high time we delivered a tasty quaddie dividend for our readers.

Race five on the card at Pakenham is the Wise Choice benchmark 64, which kicks off the quaddie at 8pm.

Race 5 – Wise Choice BM64 (2200m)

Raindrops On Roses has been racing in great form without breaking through over its last four races. The mare has finished either second or third in its last four events and should be right in the mix on Thursday.

Five-year-old gelding Lofoten Road has finished inside the first four in its last six races, winning once in that stretch. Although it has only won once in its short career the horse looks to be a progressive type.

Alongside Raindrops On Roses the Kiwi import Lofoten Road looks the standout in this field.

Race 6 – Garfield Footy & Netball BM64 (1600m)

Chima is has finished second in its last two starts but could have easily taken out both races. Finishing second in races it should have won has been the story of the gelding’s career to date but we are banking on a win being just around the corner.

In Hussor’s last four runs it has finished outside the quinella placings just once. The three-year-old looks to be a star runner in the making and will be hard to hold out over this distance.

Since changing stables Calmalist has not finished outside the first four across nine runs. We cannot deny the form of the mare since making the switch and it would be remiss of us to leave the seven-year-old out of calculations.

Race 6 quaddie tips: 7, 9 and 11

Race 7 – IGA BM70 (1200m)

Streetshavenoname won for us at a massive price two starts ago and we are taking it on faith once again. In its last four starts it has won twice and finished second so we are backing the trend to continue.

Invincible Joy is a runner that has great form over the shorter distance. Last time out two weeks ago the three-year-old bolted up to justify short odds and we see no reason why it cannot replicate that form on Thursday.

Bob Of The Head has been racing in good form lately without breaking through. The Kiwi import has not been too far off the mark despite starting in double figure odds in all of those races and we are backing it to have another strong performance at Pakenham where it has only once finished outside the trifecta placings in its career.

Race 8 – Sportsbet Racing Form BM64 (1400m)

The last leg of the quaddie has a few familiar runners rolling around Pakenham for us, and we are backing these three to generate a dividend here for us.

Ocean Grove is a class operator that has been unlucky not to be chasing a fourth straight win. The Hayes and Daberning-trained runner has never finished outside the top-two at Pakenham and we are predicting another strong run on Thursday.

Murphy has been an incredibly consistent performer that has only missed the placings twice in its ten race career. Last time out it was unlucky not to be closer to the winner and will again be right in the mix.

We are throwing in one start, one win three-year-old Educate in here to put in another quality performance. The gelding steps up massively in class on Thursday but it looks to be a progressive type that can maintain the winning run.
