No, that isn’t the start of a terrible joke that Joe Bloggs tells you after a big day on the punt at the bar, but more a summary of how the racing went on Saturday! It was a must watch day of racing from start to finish all over the country. There were plenty of favourites rolled throughout the day, but classy gallopers had their chance to shine and boy didn’t they do just that?! Enthaar set the tone, Behemoth returned in fine style and Savatiano showed she means business this campaign with a Group 1 firmly in her sights! However….there’s always a couple of wankers who ruin it for the rest of us though!

New Zealand racing is always worthy of keeping an eye on. Think of Sunline back in the day, or modern day stars like Melody Belle!
However yesterday a wanker decided to make it all about him at Trentham. With horses hitting top gear towards the winning post a spectator took matters into his own hands and invaded the track and caused one hell of a nuisance. Jockey’s had to veer their mounts out of this idiots’ way, and how lucky we were as an industry that no one was seriously injured.
If you’re going to protest, do it in a respectful and safe way. Do not put these beautiful animals and the jockey’s on board in danger you absolute nonce.

Look, we get people do make mistakes. Actually no, this one isn’t forgivable. You’re telling us there isn’t a margin in this photo? If you’re watching on a TV there’s probably some doubt, but a majority of you punters on your phones zoom in on the above photo and tell us how this is a dead heat? Yes the margin is a bee’s dick but surely the outside horse has gotten the prize money to himself in the last race on the Caulfield card, but Defibrillate got done dirty by the Steward in charge and had to share the spoils with Hang Man. Delirium on Racing Twitter was at an all time high!

Blue Diamond Stakes into the Golden Slipper, then the world! Ok maybe not the world, but by god is Enthaar a horse to be excited about! Her win in the Chairman’s Stakes was as arrogant as it gets, and to be honest the $1.25 on offer was overs! If you need something to cure the Sunday hangover just watch this replay, it’s basically porn! Hopefully you got on at $6 for the Slipper when we told you too!
