Police have raided the stables of leading trainer Darren Weir.

Police are raiding the stables of Victorian horse trainer Darren Weir.

Officers are currently at his property at Miners Rest, local paper the Ballarat Courier reports, and more are reportedly at his Warrnambool stables.

Victoria and Australian Federal Police have been contacted for comment.
