Race 1 – Maiden Plate (1000m)

Uptown Gal will be fitter for two trials coming into this one. The horse is unlucky to still be in the maiden grade, playing four of a possible seven times. The inside draw will help and we think it can deliver here.

Race 1 tip: Uptown Gal to win at William Hill

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (2500m)

A win looks just around the corner for Dazzling Rain. In its last four runs the horse has two seconds, a third and a fourth, just to highlight how close its been going. This looks to be Dazzling Rain’s best chance to breakthrough.

Race 3 – Benchmark 64 (2500m)

There won’t be too many competing with Zataglio to find the front here, which will be telling. The in-form galloper has been excelling over the 2000m+ distance and this looms as a winnable race.

Race 3 tip: Zataglio to win at Sportsbet

Race 4 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

Preemptive gets a claim here to help overturn a run of second placings. The horse has back-to-back top-two finishes, and was only half a length away from breaking through on February 24. Although it has been 30 fruitless attempts we still have faith in Preemptive.

Race 4 tip: Preemptive to win at Sportsbet

Race 5 – Maiden Plate (1600m)

Broo Boss is on its last chance for us. The promising galloper is yet to break the maiden tag despite showing plenty of talent. The horse only missed out on back-to-back occasions by three parts of a length, showcasing just how close its gotten.

Race 5 tip: Broo Boss to win at William Hill

Race 6 – Class 1 Handicap (1600m)

Herecomesmybaby is the clear horse to beat. The horse debut in style, winning by over two lengths at Bendigo on February 17. This appears well within the mare’s grasp.

Race 6 tip: Herecomesmybaby to win at William Hill

Race 7 – Benchmark 70 (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182408_07]

Bob Of The Head has been in tremendous form over the last five races without breaking through for a win. The horse has missed the placings just once in that run, and on that occasion it was only a length and a half away from winning.

Race 7 tip: Bob Of The Head to win at Crownbet

Race 8 – Benchmark 64 (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1182408_08]

Harmattan presents as an excellent chance here to win its second race in as many attempts. The Godolphin runner was terrific on debut, blasting its rivals by two lengths at Sale. No reason to think it will not improve on that run.

Race 8 tip: Harmattan to win at Ladbrokes
