Race 1 – Maiden (1600m)

Zanahary has missed the placings just one this preparation and looks overdue for a win. From the wide gate we believe the horse will look to dictate terms from the front and in this field it can surge to the head of affairs and win.

Race 1 tip: Zanahary to win at Crownbet

Race 2 – Maiden (1600m)

Buckhound is heading into its third-ever race start and after encountering tons of trouble last time out, it still rallied well, which was encouraging. The lack of early speed won’t worry the son of Sepoy, which will potentially drift back from a wider gate and look to finish over the top of them.

Race 2 tip: Buckhound to win at Neds

Race 3 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

Spirit Of Aquada only missed out by less than a length last time out at Caulfield and looks well placed to perform again. The horse benefits from the inside draw and it has placed in its one run at Pakenham.

Race 3 tip: Spirit Of Aquada to win at Ladbrokes

Race 4 – Maiden Plate (1400m)

Immaculate Secret went well on debut, but was unfortunately was subject to a careless ride by jockey Stephen Baster. The hoop gets a chance at redemption and we think it can improve on that second-placed performance.

Race 5 – Class 1 Handicap (1400m)

Aurora Rose will hunt through from the inside gate and should lead easily here. The horse has alternated between winning and coming second in its last four races and guess what? It’s last start was a second placed finish at Geelong. Back Aurora Rose with confidence.

Race 5 tip: Aurora Rose to win at William Hill

Race 6 – Benchmark 64 (1400m)

Kaptive Hero has been great this preparation without registering the elusive win. The horse has placed in all three runs this prep and looks to be in peak condition heading into this one.

Race 6 tip: Kaptive Hero to win at William Hill

Race 7 – Benchmark 70 (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1180278_07]

Invictum Domina comes into this race fresh, a point in the prep where it has form at. The horse has trialed well leading into this and it won its previous first-up race, and has also registered another win and placing from three attempts.

Race 7 tip: Invictum Domina to win at Crownbet

Race 8 – Benchmark 64 (1200m)

Eastern Pegasus is second-up, where it has won at in the past. The horse resumed in decent fashion at Albury on January 4 and we think it will strip fitter from that run. Expect a forward showing from the speedy beginner.

Race 8 tip: Eastern Pegasus to win at Sportsbet
