Owner-breeder Phil Sly dies from cancer

Prominent racehorse owner and breeder Phil Sly has died after a long battle with cancer.

Sly was given six months to live about six years ago and underwent around 50 operations.

Among his best horses was four-time Group One winner Mosheen and he would often leave hospital to go to the races to see his horses.
