Race 1 – Maiden Handicap (1000m)
Ibanez has strung together a number of terrific runs without breaking through. From 15 from runs the horse has recorded ten placings, and it seems like it’s only a matter a time before Ibanez finally wins.
Race 1 tip: Ibanez to win at William Hill
Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1300m)
Not A Sound placed on debut looks well placed to improve on that run. The Pluck filly stays close to that distance and we think it’ll be right in the mix here
Race 2 tip: Not A Sound to win at Neds
Race 3 – Benchmark 65 (1400m)
The Frick seemed like it needed the resuming run, when it finished dead-last at Randwick, but with a drop in class it will be right in the mix here. The horse has won and never missed a placing over three second-up runs so we are anticipating a sharp improvement.
Race 3 tip: The Frick to win at Neds
Race 4 – Class 1 Plate (1100m)
Woodbine Miss jumps to much tougher competition but is well placed to continue its hot form. In a race that lacks a whole bunch of speed the go-forward type can spear out from a wide gate and win this one.
Race 4 tip: Woodbine Miss to win at William Hill
Race 5 – Benchmark 56 (1600m)
Dynamic Dora has been stellar in its last two runs without winning. The galloper finished second at Tumut by a combined neck margin over those runs and with natural improvement we think it delivers the goods here.
Race 5 tip: Dynamic Dora to win at Crownbet
Race 6 – Class 2 Handicap (1280m)
The Keymaster is a last-start winner that has also won and placed third-up in the past. The horse should push forward from the inside draw and take a world of beating from the front.
Race 6 tip: Keymaster to win at William Hill
Race 7 – Benchmark 49 (1300m)
Tropicana Lass is a nose hair away from being an undefeated runner. The horse was brilliant on debut, winning by over two lengths on December 15 before missing out by a head at Gilgandra on New Years Eve. In a weak race Tropicana Lass is the likely winner.
Race 7 tip: Tropicana Lass to win ($2.70 at Crownbet)
