Race 1 – Maiden (1600m)

City Of Love brings in good form this preparation, placing in two-straight races. This is by far the form of any runner here and it should win easily to kick off the meet.

Race 1 tip: City Of Love to win ($1.60 at Sportsbet)

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185168_02]

Much like our selection in the opener, Sazavee has placed twice since resumption this preparation and looks likely here. With a low weight and the inside draw the Waterhouse and Bott runner will be the horse to beat.

Race 2 tip: Sazavee to win ($1.55 at Neds)

Race 3 – Maiden Handicap (1300m)

Despite missing the jump, Sun And Heir was good enough to be competitive in its last-start second at Gosford. The horse finished fast on ANZAC Day, which leads into this race nicely.

Race 3 tip: Sun And Heir to win ($4 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Class 4 (900m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185168_04]

All Stand will look to lead this one from start to finish from the inside gate. It’s last-start at this level yielded a second, just eight parts of a length away from Fanning at Gosford. The horse is looking to maintain a run that seen it not finish outside the top-two over the last four runs.

Race 4 tip: All Stand to win at ($2.30 Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Maiden Handicap (900m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185168_05]

King is one of only two runners that has finished inside the placings previously. The horse resumed with a strong second at Gosford on ANZAC Day and the Snowdon runner should be right in the frame here.

Race 5 tip: King to win ($2.60 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Benchmark 65 (1500m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185168_06]

Unbridled Power is a last-start winner that rates as a strong chance. The horse brings in the best form of any runner and it should be hard to beat from a good draw.

Race 6 tip: Unbridled Power to win ($3.40 at Neds)

Race 7 – Benchmark 66 (1900m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185168_07]

Chris Waller’s Via Veneto has started its career in decent fashion, winning on debut before a disappointing showing at BM72. The filly drops back slightly in class and from a good draw the three-year-old will be right in the mix.

Race 7 tip: Via Veneto to win ($4.60 at William Hill)

Race 8 – Class 1 Handicap (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185168_08]

Bachelor won a smart maiden at Wyong on April 12 and looks likely to go back-to-back. The improving gelding should be right in the frame from the decent draw.

Race 8 tip: Bachelor to win at Neds
