Race 1 – Maiden Plate (1010m)

Hi My Girl hasn’t been too far away from the action in four career starts to date and that form should stack up well here. Consider with some luck from a wide barrier draw.

Race 1 tip: Hi My Girl to win at

Race 2 – Maiden Handicap (1010m)

Wonzero has done exactly that and won zero races, but this looks a winnable race. The four-year-old mare ran well enough for third last time out and it should be paying a handy each way price with bookmakers.

Race 2 tip: Wonzero to win at

Race 3 – Maiden Handicap (1200m)

Wallander went close on debut at Doomben and there isn’t as much quality opposition here. Jeff Lloyd takes the ride which shows punters that connections are confident of a win. Should be tough to run down.

Race 3 tip: Wallander to win at

Race 4 – BM70 Handicap (1010m)

Viceman has placed twice from three starts this campaign and it’s another quality ride for Jeff Lloyd. The four-year-old should land in a good spot and it has a better turn-of-foot than most of its rivals.

Race 4 tip: Viceman to win at

Race 5 – C1 Plate (2020m)

Hand of Faith isn’t the most consistent runner in this field, but it has the ability. The four-year-old was a winner three back before following that up with a sixth. It returned to form last start so consider on that run.

Race 5 tip: Hand of Faith to win at

Race 6 – BM65 Handicap (1530m)

Gouldian has taken on much harder fields than this and despite the fact that it hasn’t won in quite some time, the six-year-old will enjoy this company. This track should suit so consider at each way odds.

Race 6 tip: Gouldian to win at

Race 7 – BM65 Handicap (1530m)

Star Rock looks like one of the better bets of the day. The Matt Dunn-trained runner capped off some consistent form with a win last start and it’s another plum ride for Jeff Lloyd.

Race 7 tip: Star Rock to win at

Race 8 – BM55 Handicap (1200m)

Dux Nutz might not win the award for best name, but it was a good winner two back. The Daniel Bowen-trained three-year-old should get a good run in transit and give some of these a real test.

Race 8 tip: Dux Nutz to win at

Race 9 – BM55 Handicap (1200m)

Lyrical Prince has drawn wide, but it showed good speed to win last start and that should match up well against this field.

Race 9 tip: Lyrical Prince to win at
