Morphettville Parks racing tips – Saturday, 26 September 2020
Short-priced favourites are the theme for the early part of the Morphettville meeting, where we are racing on the Parks circuit for the first time in three weeks. The rail is back in the true position and the track has come up a Good 4, but showers throughout Friday could see it downgraded to a Soft 5 or 6. The first race is set to jump at 12:56pm AEST.
Saturday racing tips for Morphettville
We think this 3YO filly just gets the job done in the opener. Out of the first three short-priced favourites on the card, she is probably the most deserving and will take a power of beating. She will take up the running and should get her own way up in front in a small field of six. Phillip Stokes and Kayla Crowther strike at an incredible 27%, so this looks the ideal way to start off on Saturday.

Sign Of Ussuri is the favourite, but we are happy to take him on with the David Jolly-trained Andrea Mantegna. She is racing in career-best form and had her own way last start when leading the whole trip once settled. She drops sharply back to 1550m after racing over 2000m the last two starts, so expect a genuine tempo up front in what could become a battle of the fittest. We like $5 on offer here.

Beeokay is honest as the day is long and gets back to a distance where he has had his most success. After racing over 1200m since June, he looks nicely placed at a good each-way price to take out the penultimate race on the card. He’ll settle midfield and look to have the last go at them. Ryan Hurdle has a good record with this galloper, having not missed the quinella in three rides on the Grant Young-trained gelding.
