Race 1 – Ladbrokes Friday Night Lights (1200m)

Jay Jay D’ar is a big chance to go back-to-back after a winning debut. The Pins filly jumps in weight following that maiden win, but a good draw will ensure it is right in the mix.

Race 1 tip: Jay Jay D’ar to win ($4.80 at William Hill)

Race 2 – Benchmark 78 (2040m)

Divine Command gets in much better in the weights than one of the main rivals and it will be hard to hold out here. The horse gets a great gate here to continue its quality form which has seen it win and place a further three occasions.

Race 2 tip: Divine Command to win ($3.80 at Ladbrokes)

Race 3 – Benchmark 64 (1200m)

Neurotic drops in grade following a disappointing showing at Flemington in the Group 3 Vanity Stakes (1400m). While the horse finished dead-last, this is a significant step-down and we’re backing it to return to the form that saw it win back-to-back races.

Race 3 tip: Neurotic to win ($7.50 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Benchmark 70 (1600m)

Promising type Montaser looks well placed to deliver another win. The horse failed at its one attempt at BM703, but it rebounded nicely to win at benchmark 64 level. We think it can progress from here.

Race 4 tip: Montaser to win ($2.15 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge (955m)

Roddandtodd won this race in its last-start on February 9 and given it takes the same weight into this contest, we’re backing it in once again. The horse loves the sprint trip, and the win at the beginning of February was by over three lengths. Back Roddandtodd in once again.

Race 5 tip: Roddandtodd to win ($2.35 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Benchmark 78 (2500m)

Diamond Grace will be hard to beat here. The horse is third-up – where it is one-from-one at the preparation – and comes into this race following a strong win at the level. The claim from Stephanie Thornton keeps it well in the weights. We’re backing the horse in.

Race 6 tip: Diamond Grace to win ($3.50 at William Hill)

Race 7 – Benchmark 78 (1200m)

Hay Bale comes into this race following a powerful win at this level at the Valley, but a jump in weights will deter some punters. We’re backing it in to go back-to-back in a race that looks very winnable for the son of Canford Cliffs.

Race 7 tip: Hay Bale to win ($6.50 at Crownbet)

Race 8 – Benchmark 64 (1200m)

Borrow won well on debut and looks a great chance to make it two from two. The horse gets a horror gate but we liked what we saw at Kyneton on February 21 so we’re backing it in at odds.

Race 8 tip: Borrow to win ($16 at Ladbrokes)
