Michelle Payne granted dual licence
Melbourne Cup winning rider Michelle Payne is one of three people to be granted a dual trainer/jockey licence in Victoria.
Jade Darose and Rhonda Mangan were also approved by Racing Victoria on Thursday for the new licences which mean they will be able to ride horses they train in races.
Payne has not ridden competitively since May when she was seriously injured in a fall at Mildura but has been riding trackwork for the past few weeks.
