The $4.60 shot at Crownbet.com.au emerged from the pack late to run down the Alan Peterson-trained eight-year-old, which returned $1.40 at Sportsbet.com.au.

Dash Of Maple plugged away well to generate $2.60 WilliamHill.com.au.
The win was the first success for the mare since winning on New Year’s Day at Flemington and just the third win of the four-year-old’s 22 race career.
Following a racing pattern that was implemented at the tail end of last year, Magna Rossa came into the Mark Davis Cleaning benchmark 64 after a three week let up.
The win was the horse’s first victory as part of the Matthew Williams stable since the mare switched from the Matthew Ellerton camp.
