Race 1 – Maiden Plate (1200m)

Toorak Warrior has placed second in back-to-back events this preparation and looks ready to win. The three-year-old should improve third-up and gets a great gate to jump from.

Race 1 tip: Toorak Warrior to win at William Hill

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1850m)

Uncovered put together a career-best second placed effort on March 28 and looks ready to improve on that effort. From barrier five and 56kg the filly should be a major player.

Race 2 tip: Uncovered to win at Neds

Race 3 – Maiden Plate (1100m)

Schumer presents as the best credentialed runner coming into this race. The All American three-year-old placed second at Bairnsdale, and is the only runner that brings in anything close to winning form.

Race 3 tip: Shumer to win at Sportsbet

Race 4 – Maiden (1450m)

A wide gate is the only thing that will undo First Timer here. In two of its last three runs the horse has placed, and the four-year-old presents as a strong winning hope.

Race 4 tip: First Timer to win at Sportsbet

Race 5 – Benchmark 58 (1450m)

Ecology comes into this race with plenty of form to draw upon. In its last seven races the horse has won twice and missed the first four just once. From barrier four the mare will be hard to hold out.

Race 5 tip: Ecology to win at William Hill

Race 6 – Benchmark 58 (1850m)

A claim will help Hurry Harriet here. The horse has been in great form recently and draws well from barrier one. Expect the mare to be in the leading division and win this one from the front.

Race 6 tip: Hurry Harriet to win at Neds

Race 7 – Class 1 Handicap (1100m)

Champenoise has been great this preparation, winning once and placing second on two occasions. The horse should be fitter and brings the best form of any of these runners.

Race 7 tip: Champenoise to win at Ladbrokes

Race 8 – Benchmark 64 (1200m)

The Weir and Yendall team should round out our day with a win, combining to take Silentz to the races. The gelding finished second upon resumption and it should only be fitter here. The horse has won second-up in the past.

Race 8 tip: Silentz to win at Crownbet
