Kieren Fallon back among the winners

Kieren Fallon has announced his return to British racing after an absence of almost a year, riding a double at Ayr.

The six-time British champion took time off in 2015, but is now fighting fit and enjoying his work again on both sides of the Irish Sea.

He has settled in Ireland, his home country, and is based at the Curragh with Michael O’Callaghan following a stint in America.

“Last year I wasn’t myself, I didn’t feel right so I had time off and went away,” Fallon told Racing UK.

“There were a few things, personal matters. I’m fine now, so let’s hope we can kick on.

“I got the opportunity when Michael (O’Callaghan) rang me to see if I would go back to Ireland to see if I could rekindle some of my form.

“I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s something different, but there isn’t racing in Ireland every day so I’ve come over here to try and win some races.”
