Race 1 – Maiden (1000m)

Battle Anthem has finished second in both its career starts and looms as a winner here. The horse is one of only two gallopers in the seven horse field and has by far the best form of any participants.

Race 1 tip: Battle Anthem to win ($2.60 at Sportsbet)

Race 2 – Maiden Plate (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185622_02]

Godolphin runner Erudition placed second on debut and we’re anticipating a sharp uptick in form. The horse jumps in trip, which will be right up the filly’s alley.

Race 2 tip: Erudition to win ($2.05 at Sportsbet)

Race 3 – Maiden Handicap (1400m)

In two of is three career starts Impatience has recorded placings and we’re backing the filly to breakthrough here. The horse draws barrier nine but we’re backing the Quinton runner to make an impact.

Race 3 tip: Impatience to win ($4.20 at Sportsbet)

Race 4 – Class 2 Handicap (1400m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185622_04]

Godolphin resumed in style at Newcastle almost a month ago, winning by a length in a competitive race. This looms as a winnable race at a point in the preparation where the horse has not missed the top-two across two attempts.

Race 4 tip: Organza to win ($3.20 at Sportsbet)

Race 5 – Maiden (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185622_05]

Tonsor is debuting in a field that isn’t littered with potential stars. The horse comes into this one on the back of a trial win and the four-year-old will be right in the frame here.

Race 5 tip: Tonsor to win ($2.30 at William Hill)

Race 6 – Benchmark 65 (1200m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185622_06]

The third-up Palladian should be hard to hold out. The horse has won and placed second over two third-up attempts and the gelding has placed in back-to-back events to kick off the campaign.

Race 6 tip: Palladian to win ($3.10 at Neds)

Race 7 – Benchmark 67 (1600m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185622_07]

Seine Net has placed in both races this preparation and we’re looking for the filly to return third-up for another win. If the horse overcomes the wide barrier it will take a world of beating.

Race 7 tip: Seine Net to win ($2.80 at William Hill)

Race 8 – Class 1 Plate (2000m)

[rmOC_events_list event_ids=1185622_08]

The fast-finishing Britannicus will go back from barrier 10 and look to finish over the top of them. The horse finished fourth upon its resumption and has not missed a placing in three subsequent runs. This looms as a winnable event.

Race 8 tip: Britannicus to win ($6.50 at Sportsbet)
